Guwahati, July 4, 2025: Assam Police personnel made the state and country proud by winning a total of eight medals - five gold and three silver - at the World Police & Fire Games held in Birmingham, USA.
Displaying power and determination, the team triumphed in the arm-wrestling category, reaffirming Assam Police’s motto: “Wrist Assured! Assam Police is the Strongest!”
The medal winners are:
• Kandarapa Borah: Double Gold – Right Hand & Left Hand
• Amlanjit Borthakur: Gold (Right), Silver (Left)
• Junmoni Das: Gold (Right), Silver (Left)
• Lovita Koch: Gold (Left), Silver (Right)
