Aizawl, June 28, 2025: Mizoram University has achieved a major academic milestone by securing an A+ Grade with a CGPA of 3.30 in the latest accreditation cycle conducted by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
The NAAC Peer Team conducted its evaluation of the university from June 3 to 5, 2025, assessing key areas such as academic performance, institutional values, infrastructure, research output, and community engagement.
This upgrade from its previous A Grade is being hailed as a significant leap, showcasing the collective dedication of the university’s faculty, staff, students, and alumni. The news has been met with statewide celebration and commendation.
Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma, in a congratulatory message, stated:
“This remarkable achievement reflects the hard work and vision of everyone involved with Mizoram University. Mizoram is proud of you!”
The University also issued a statement expressing gratitude for the support and acknowledging that while this is a proud moment, “Greater deeds remain.”
