Aizawl, May 5, 2025, Virthli (ONP): The Aizawl District Sports Committee (ADSC) has formally elected its office bearers for the 2025–2027 term during a meeting held this afternoon at the DC Conference Hall, Aizawl.
Chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Aizawl, Er. Lalhriatpuia, IAS, who also assumes the role of ADSC Chairman by virtue of office, the election saw representatives from various sports associations in attendance.
The newly elected office bearers are as follows:
• Senior Vice Chairman: Pu Ngurhmingliana Khatla (Table Tennis)
• Vice Chairman: Pu R.K. Vanlalliana (Buanga), Maubawk (Volleyball)
• Member Secretary: Pu Lalngilneia Colney, District Sports & Youth Officer (ex-officio)
• Assistant Secretary: Pu K. Lalbuanga, Chaltlang Lily Veng (Chess)
The Finance Secretary will be appointed by the Mizoram State Sports Council (MSSC) in due course.
Pi Lalmawipuii of MSSC attended the meeting as an observer.
