CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

The Zomi Re-unification Organisation (ZRO) HQ, with all its rank and files, is deeply shocked and filled with sadness on the sudden demise of our fellow comrades, Pu Lalropui Famhoite @Puia, C-in-C of Hmar People's Convention (Democratic) and Chairman, United Peoples' Front (UPF) on 21st May, 2018. While the UPF and KNO have been engaging with the Government for a durable political solution in Hill areas of Manipur, his death is indeed untimely and very unfortunate.
Pu Puia is a man of integrity who remains true to his commitment for the cause of the Zo people, even under the most trying circumstances in the past. During his active service for the nation, he strives for our collective political survival, keeping aside the minor differences we have amongst the different Zo communities.
The Organisation valued his dedication, acknowledge his enormous contributions, and will always cherished his dreams; the dreams that he left us to fulfill for the betterment of our people.
No words can explain how saddened we are at the sudden demise of our Leader. As Pu Puia left us for his eternal home, we Salute him with love and respect, and say Goodbye!
Today, we humbly accepted what God has done! As we pay our last respect to our departed Leader, it is also our fervent appeal to all, to continue working on the foundation he laid for our collective survival; follow his footsteps and fulfill his dreams. Let us remember that Pu Puia will be the happiest man if we could accomplish his cherished dreams.
Finally, we share the sorrow and grieve of the bereaved family members as well as his co-workers for the nation. We pray that the Lord Almighty consoled them, bless them and filled the vacuum created by his absence.
May his soul rest in peace.
