SIELMAT YC, the CHAMPION of the 13th State Level Hmar Martyrs' Trophy 2016 will return to the 14th edition of the same trophy at Saikot Playground this year to defend its 2016 title with a squad blending experience and youth. The 14th edition of the Hmar Martyrs Trophy will take place from 5th April to 16th May, 2017. SIELMAT YC will be striving to retain the title they won in 2016.
The 19- member squad includes a Doctor -cum- Footballer, Dr.Cornillius Pudaite which will be the best part to encourage the young talented players from Churachandpur District that Football and studies could go together. Goal Machine Thangtinlen Haokip , TOP SCORER of the 13th edition of the tournament and Thangdinho Haokip, 4 times in Champion teams with different Clubs (Muolvaiphei YC, Muolbem YC, B.Aizalon SC & Sielmat YC) of the Hmar Martyrs' Trophy will again be apart of Sielmat YC which pave hope for winning the title this year too. Some new players from other clubs - Mong Hmangte (FC ZALEN), Zawlthang (MYC), Laldarmawi (MYC/RACC) and Bedeempar (FC ZALEN) will be seen as in the squad as well to hold their title.
