JOINT CONDEMNATION

The Hmar Inpui, General Headquarters, The Hmar Students' Association, General Headquarters, The Hmar Youth Association, Generaal Headquarters and The Hmar Women's Association, General Headquarters condemn the brutal killing of Mr. Lalthangsang Intoate, Founder President of Hmar National Army (HNA) and Vice Supremo of Kuki National Organisation (KNO) at 1 am of 5th July 2016 at Hmarveng, Churachandpur. Mr. Lalthangsang Intoate was mercilessly killed near the gate of his residence by unknown armed assailants. The HNA is currently under Suspension of Operation (SoO).
Since life is a gift from the Almighty God, the Hmar civil society organisations laments the total disregard for the value of human life and the life of a visionary leader of the Hmars. The Hmar civil society organisations while condemning the murder of Mr. Lalthangsang Intoate in a most barbaric manner requests all not to repeat such a brutal and inhumane act in future.
Mr. Lallthangsang Intoate is a leader who has a passionate love for the Hmar people. He is a leader who has a passion for unity among the Hmars. The Hmar people will always remember his contributions for the betterment of the Hmars. The Hmar civil society organizations laments this great lost and prays that the Almighty God will comfort the family of the departed leader.
