ULTIMATUM SUBMITTED TO THE HON'BLE CHIEF MINISTER OF MANIPUR SHRI OKRAM IBOBI SINGH
Honble Chief Minister,
1. Never before in history, were the indigenous peoples of Manipur so concerned and worried as of now, about their fate of survival amidst the vast multitude of the Indian diaspora
2. With all the safety provisions of the great constitution of the Republic of India, the future of the ethnic Manpuries are still under serious threat.
3. Wisely and to the great admiration of the people of Manipur. Your government had responded to the need of the hour and signed the historic agreement of August 25, 2015
4. However, sadly, even after 100 precious days, your government still remained as dormant as ever except passing of three bills and shifting the onus to the government of India.
5. Your government have so far failed to take up any of the other parts of the agreement inducting (a) constitution of population commission (b) Constitution of Land Reform Commission.
6. You have even failed to take up any initiative on the implementation of the relevant clauses of the long-time concluded Agreements of AMSU and AMSCOC.
7. Further, nothing has been done (a) to provice financial assistance to all person injured during the course of the movement (b) to provide financial and logistic support in the development of the Robinhood Complex.
8. Delaying of the execution of the agreement will only expose the insincerity of your government in saving the ethnic Manipuries from extinction.
9. Now, the people of Manipur cannot wait your government's slumber for any more days. And, we will go ahead with all the necessary actions to redefine the destiny of the indigenous peoples of Manipur starting from 16th December,2015.
