Lamka: Two prominent CSOs of the Hmar community, a dominant tribe in Churachandpur's Tipaimukh sub-division said they were ecstatic that the DLCC meeting was held at Parbung on Tuesday.The two bodies Hmar Youth Association and Hmar Students' Association has specifically commended the Deputy Commissioner Jacintha Lazarus for her sincere and tireless efforts to bring development in the remote parts of the district.
The bodies also expressed 'heartfelt thanks' to ED/DRDA, CEO-ADCC, SDO of all sub-divisions, and all the DLOs as an individual and through their respective departments for having concern for the land and people of Tipaimukh.
"We hope and pray that all the schemes and projects that are being under implementation and on the pipeline proceed with sincerity and concern for the needy people," it added.
The statement of the CSOs has highlighted the reopening of a bank in Parbung, providing adequate teaching staff in government run schools and streamlining of MGNRE-GA as the most urgent need of the people in the region.
