The Staff Selection Commission will hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination on 10.07.2011 at DELHI, ALLAHABAD, MUMBAI, BANGALORE, KOLKATA, GUWAHATI, CHENNAI, CHANDIGARH AND RAIPUR in accordance with the enclosed rules framed and already notified in the Gazette of India by the Department of Personnel and Training vide notification dated 11.05.1971 for making additions to the Select List for Grade ‘C’ Stenographers of the following Services/Cadres, subject to availability of confirmed number of vacancies:(i) Central Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’
(ii) Stenographers Cadre of Indian Foreign Service (B) Grade‐II
(iii) Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’
(iv) Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’
(v) Election Commission of India Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’
(vi) Central Vigilance Commission Stenographers service Grade ‘C’
