Eligibility: A Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised University, in any discipline.
Test Centres: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Ranchi and Varanasi. The Institute reserves the right to change or cancel any test centre at its discretion. The Institute has the right to assign a particular centre to candidates applying for multiple programmes

Candidates can apply for not more than THREE programmes. To get Application Form and
InformationBrochure:
• Apply online through our website, i.e. www.tiss.edu after making a payment of Rs. 800/- per course through any branch of SBI in India. Challan downloadable from our website. After online submission, print the form and attach the Challan of TISS copy and post to TISS, Mumbai.
• Unemployed SC/ST candidates whose parents’ income is below Rs. ONE LAKH during 2009-10 can apply online free of cost, on the above method.
• Hard copy application will be available from the Institute only to candidates from remote / most backward area where there are no internet / telecommunication facilities available.
Deputed Candidates: Officials/teachers and Resource Persons applying for the M.A. in Education (Elementary) programme will be selected through a suitable screening process comprising documentary evidence of interest and motivation for the programme or an interview.
Reservations: Government of India norms will be applicable for admission for SC/ST/OBC/PWD (Persons with Disability). Limited number of hostel seats are
available.
Pre-admission coaching: Only for SC/ST/OBC (Non- Creamy Layers) and Religious Minority candidates will be held on November 12, 13 and 14, 2010 only at Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad centres.
Scholarships / financial assistance are available for selected needy students.
