Known to his fans as Tripura’s Rap King, Borkung Hrangkhawl is scheduled to take the stage with his bold lyrics and electrifying beats. The talented rapper, songwriter, and singer is poised to deliver a powerful performance that showcases the urban sounds of the North East to an international audience.

Joining him is Seyievinuo Chuzho, hailed as the 'Ethereal Verse' of Nagaland. A multifaceted artist who combines music with her academic and community work, Seyievinuo will present her unique Naga folk fusion alongside her band, Seyie Intrepid. Her music, which weaves together stories of passion and harmony, is set to offer a captivating blend of indigenous melodies and contemporary rhythms. Having previously performed in England, her appearance at the festival marks another significant step in showcasing Naga music to the world.

The festival, a key initiative under the 'Act East' vision, will also feature a series of high-profile B2B meets to promote bilateral trade and tourism. The inaugural session on September 19th will be attended by prominent dignitaries, including Union DoNER Minister Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia and Chief Ministers from Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Throughout the three-day event, attendees can explore over 50 stalls displaying the best of agri-horticulture, food processing, handicrafts, and traditional cuisines from the North East. The cultural showcase will also include performances by around 150 folk dancers presenting traditional dances like the Lion dance from Arunachal Pradesh and the Warrior dance from Nagaland. In addition to Borkung and Seyievinuo, the festival will feature performances by Bollywood singer Zubeen Garg from Assam and Singaporean rapper Younng Raja.

Chief organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta highlighted the festival’s scope, noting, “A series of B2B meets will be organized to promote bilateral trade and tourism between India and Singapore. Entry to the festival is free, making it accessible to everyone.”
