UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2014

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) Department of Health invites applications for a Competitive Examination-Combined Medical Services Examination to be held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in 2014 for the purpose of filling vacancies in the various services/posts in Govt Ministries/Departments.

Post and Departments:
Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways
Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service
Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service
General duty Medical Officer Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal
Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation
General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council

Qualification: MBBS

Age Limit: A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st January, 2014 i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1982.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600-39,100 in the Pay Band PB-3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400. Non-practicing allowance (NPA) and other allowances will be paid as per orders in force from time to time. The rate of NPA at present is 25% of basic pay (Pay in pay band+Grade Pay).
