UPSC invites application on prescribed forms for various posts in various Government of India Ministries and Departments in the prescribed format for the following posts :
1. Chief Instructor (Marine Engineer)
No of Post : 01 post in the Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET), Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Agriculture, Posts are permanent.
Qualification & Experience : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent or MOT Class II or 1st Class Engineering (Motor Certificate of competency issued by the Ministry of Transport, Govt. of India. B. Experience : Seven years’ experience in operation / maintenance of Marine Engine or three years’ experience as a Chief Engineer.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
2. Scientist SB (Physical, Rubber, Plastic & Textile (PRT))
No of Post : 02 posts in National Test House, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs. Posts are permanent.
Qualification & Experience : Master’s Degree in Physics(Pure / Applied) or Chemistry (Pure / Applied / Industrial) or degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology or degree in Textile / Rubber / Plastic / Paper / Leather / Polymer Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ practical experience in testing and evaluation of materials such as textiles, polymer, paper, leather etc. in a recognized laboratory.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 8000 to 13500 /- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
3. Senior Scientific Officer Gr. I (Armament)
No of Post : 01 post in DGQA, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence Production, Minisry of Defence. Post are temporary.
Qualification & Experience : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Four years’ practical experience in Production / Development / Quality Assurance in the relevant field.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000 to 15200 /- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.
4. Senior Scientific Officer Gr. II (Lie Detector)
No of Post : 01 post in CFSL, Ministry of Home Affairs. Posts are permanent.
Qualification &Ex perience : Master’s Degree in Criminology or Psychology from a recognized University or equivalent. Three years’ experience in Applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
5. Deputy Central Intelligence Officers (Technical)
No of Post : 07 posts in Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs. Posts are permanent.
Qualification & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electronics and Tele- Communication Engineering or Computer Science / Engineering or B.E. / B.Tech in Information Technology or Master’s degree in Computer Applications.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
6. Deputy Legislative Counsel (Hindi)
No of Post : 01 post in Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice. Posts are permanent.
Qualification & Experience : Master’s degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized University or equivalent. Should be a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for eight years.
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 50 years.
7. Assistant Public Prosecutor
No of Post : 01 post in Department of Personnel-Administrtive Reforms, Union Territory Administration of Daman & Diu. Post are temporary.
Qualification & Experience : Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years’ experience at the Bar. Desirable : i) Experience as Public Prosecutor / Government Advocate. ii) Knowledge of local language(Gujarati).
Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300 to 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.
Age Limit : Not exceeding 30 years.
