CHURACHANDPUR, July 7 - Hmar Inpui, Hmar Students’ Association, Hmar Youth Association and Hmar Women’s Association have severely condemned the brutal killing of Lalthangsang Intoate, Founder President of Hmar National Army (HNA) and vice supremo of Kuki National Organisation (KNO) who was shot dead by unknown armed assailants at his rented house at Hmarveng, Churachandpur on July 5.
The Hmar civil bodies in a statement said it strongly laments the total disregard for the value of human life and the life of a visionary leader of the Hmars. While condemning the barbaric murder of Intoate, the civil ogranisations urged all not to repeat such brutal and inhumane act in future.
The statement added that Intoate was a leader who had a passionate love for the Hmar people. The Hmar people will always remember his contributions for the betterment of the Hmars.( Newmai News)
