JIRIBAM, FEB 01 : 27 Assam Rifles extend their helpings hands to the 30 Hmar Students Association (HSA) delegates (proceeding towards CCPUR), who met with an accident near Muktakhal, Jiribam, Manipur. 27AR Medical team provided first Aid, evacuated the 10 injured persons to CHC Jiribam for further management and one critical patient was referred to SMCH Silchar. The others delegates were also provided bus at the accident site and escorted from Muktakhal back to Jiribam safely. The Deputy Speaker HSA General HQ Mr Immanuel Hmar conveyed his hearfelt thanks, appreciation to Colonel Haobam Ramesh Singh, Commandant 27 Assam Rifles for extending such valuable help and support. He further said Assam Rifles indeed are true Friends of the Hills People.The deputy speaker while praising the Assam Rifles said that Special mentioned goes to Dy Comdt Jacob 27 Assam Rifles for taking initiative and big thanks to team 27 Assam Rifles, Friends of the Hills People.
