Proceeding of the Kuki Inpi Manipur convened joint meeting of Zomi Council, Hmar Inpui, Mizo Peoples Convention, Kuki Inpi Churachandpur, Vaiphei Peoples Council, United Zou Organisation, Simte Tribe Council, Paite Tribe Council, Tidim Chin Union, Thangkhal Tribe Union, Komrem Union, Thadou Tribe Council, Gangte Tribe Council, Mate Tribe Council and Joint Action Committee held today, the 1st October 2015 at KIC Office, Tuibuong
The joint meeting after thorough and threadbare discussion on the issues confronting the tribal peoples of Manipur State and its violent situations have unanimously adopted the following resolutions.
1. Condemned in the strongest term the in-action of the Government of Manipur against the memorandum submitted by the Kuki Inpi Manipur on 21st September, 2015 urging the Chief Minister to call back the bills and places at his table for further discussion and reconsideration with participation of all stakeholders both hills and valley communities.
2. Kuki Inpi Manipur is fully authorised to initiate dialogue with the Government of Manipur on the three bills and its related issues arising out of both the bills. And also agreed all to extend unflingching support to the Kuki Inpi Manipur in their initiatives/moves
